About the artist

Hi, I’m Andrés Angulo — a Spanish comic artist and writer, and creator of the Blight comic series and the canine-inspired clothing brand; Can-Apparel.

I’ve been honing my craft since 2016, but my journey into the industry started even earlier. I’m proud to say that I interned at Ilion Animation Studios (now Skydance Animation) and was able to work a bit in both Luck (2022) and Spellbound (2024). I’ve also contributed as a concept artist for the film Dog Aches.

However, what you probably know me for are my fanarts and, of course, my comic series Blight — officially published under the Markosia banner in 2024.

My Goals:

• Continuously improve my artistic skills.

• Bring the story I’ve been developing for years to life.

I’d say I’ve come a long way on the first one, although let’s face it… You can always grow as an artist and I still got way too much left to learn.

But comics take a ridiculously long time to make (who knew right?), so in the meantime I’m excited to share my progress and sell art and merch through this site.
